During the pandemic, I wrote, recorded, and released my first song, "North Star," on Spotify and 150+ platforms via CDBaby.

While I've been songwriting since 2018, I'd never taken the opportunity to record and produce one of my own songs. However, with ample time during the pandemic, I set a goal to release at least one song. 

 

I wrote "Noth Star" for my best friend after we had a socially distanced High School graduation party with seven of my close friends. It is a song about how friends can always bring you back to yourself, as with true friends, there's no need to be anyone other than who you are. 

 

Using Studio One, Motu M2, and my Telefunken microphone, I recorded the song in my bedroom. I then connected with a producer to mix and master the song.
